my friends’ version of the avengers :)
now ain’t that right? :))
Faith-Works=Salvation…
is a dead faith… What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. James 2:14-22
Faith+Works=Salvation…
is what religion says… Jesus already paid for everything. Trying to pay for our sins through our good works is an insult to what He did for us. (see Ephesians 2:8,9).
Faith=Salvation+Works..
Faith alone is what God is requiring, but faith produces fruits(good works and salvation) just like an apple tree. Unless it bears an apple it can never be called an apple tree. Putting and sticking apples(good works) on a tree(man) does not make him an apple tree. Same as being a Christian. You can never be a follower unless you produce fruits(good works) out of love for God. That is genuine faith. It is putting our trust on God in every area and aspects of our lives even if our lives depended on it. Not religion, not tradition… But by faith! :)
The difference between Christianity and Religion.
“if He is not your Lord of all.. then He is not your Lord at all..”
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him.-Colossians 2:6
Just a random thought:
Would this formula produce the same kind of superhero?
because they definitely have the same name and origin :))
Cosplay anyone?
hehe, this was just out of boredom.. a friend and i was just checking out on his’ dad’s set of neckties which i could borrow for my graduation the next day. then all of a sudden we got the notion of cosplaying when i kinda looked like kira upon wearing his’ dad’s red tie(and plus the fact that i have a death note in hand). well it is all because.. one, i’m a frustrated model and two, he was a really good photographer just waiting for a willing subject. :)
Personalized Meme :))
“Everything is permissible”—but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible”—but not everything is CONSTRUCTIVE. [1 Corinthians 10:23]
Intimacy without commitment is not constructive but rather it is sometimes even destructive.. God wants us to thrive, grow and finish in entering a romantic relationship.. He wants the best for us.. If God is telling you that you are not ready for commitment or to enter in a relationship, then don’t push intimacy because it is after all for your own good.. :D
How sweet is our God that He still cares even with the concerns regarding the area of our love life :)
So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her. [Genesis 29:20]
if you really love that person.. Waiting is NOTHING :)
